Drone frame

Plastic drone frame is used to naturally control varroa, even during honey flow. The queen will lay drone eggs which attract varroa. Once capped, before the drones emerge, remove the frame and place in the freezer for a few days to kill the brood and mites. Repeat as neccessary.
