Fume Board

Fume Board is used to clear the bees from the box and get them down to the lower box, be it for honey collecting or simply because we need to install a queen excluder.

It needs to be used together with a product like Fischer's BeeQuick or Bee Repel that needs to be sprayed inside the fume board and then installed on top of the box that you need to clear the bees from. The bees don't like the smell and will run away from the product.

The fume board works only on hot and sunny days. The hot sun needs to warms the fume board therefore activating the product that spreads through the hive.
