Non-vented Protective Jacket

Designed for beekeepers looking for simple, practical, and economical protection in the apiary, this non-vented protective jacket is an appealing option for routine hive inspections and everyday work. It was designed specifically by Miellerie de l’Estrie with the help of experienced beekeepers to offer a version that is more practical, more functional, and more durable for daily use.

This jacket is non-vented and made from durable cotton, making it an economical option for beekeepers who want reliable protection with a simple design. Several velcros were added in strategic areas, especially around the neck, to help eliminate small openings where bees could get in, particularly where zippers meet.

The larger pockets are designed to fit a phone more easily and include velcro closures for better security. The hood is fully removable, and the veil is made from heavy-duty materials designed for long-lasting use. A zipper was also added to the front of the veil to provide quick access to the face, for example to drink water. Gloves are sold separately. It is available in sizes S to 4XL.
