This easy-harvest hive is a complete setup for your bees. It includes two honey supers, an entrance, inner cover, outer roof, and 7 honey-draining frames installed in the upper super. Unlike many similar kits on the market, this setup also gives you the option to add a standard Langstroth super if you want to run the hive with two brood boxes or overwinter your colony on two standard boxes.

Harvesting honey becomes much simpler while keeping disturbance to the bees to a minimum. Access to the honey frames is located at the back of the hive. Using the supplied key, you simply open the frame mechanism and raw, pure, delicious honey flows directly into your jar. This system eliminates the need for a traditional extractor and allows you to harvest only the amount of honey you want, even if you only need a single jar.

Since bees often fill one or two frames at a time, the ability to harvest each frame individually lets you enjoy honey that may vary slightly from one frame to another throughout the season, depending on which flowers are blooming.
