InstantVap® | TURBO | 18-20V Cordless Vaporizer

Designed for beekeepers looking for a fast, precise, and cordless solution for oxalic acid treatment, the InstantVap® Turbo 18-20V is a high-performance tool for working directly in the bee yard with greater efficiency. Based on the proven InstantVap® Compact design, this model was developed to deliver faster treatments, precise temperature control, and simple hive-side operation.

Powered by 18-20 V rechargeable batteries, it delivers 400 W of power and a stated 22 Ah capacity. It can complete treatments in about 10 seconds per 2 g dose at a set temperature of 260 °C. That temperature was chosen because testing showed it offers the best balance of speed and effectiveness for this model. The intelligent LED display shows temperature, voltage, warning messages, and cycle count, while the operating temperature and display units can be adjusted in either °C or °F.

Its design includes a stainless steel frame and a strong brass pipe, creating a compact, stable, and durable unit on the hive. Its solid-state PID temperature control system has no wearing parts and maintains excellent accuracy, with a maximum overshoot of 2 °C and temperature stability of about ±1 °C around the selected value. Its straight-through design with no pipe bends also helps reduce clogging and makes cleaning easier. Treatments can be carried out without opening the hive, which helps reduce colony disturbance.

At an ambient temperature of 20 °C, a 5-amp battery can treat up to 25 colonies or more when used with the optional insulation cover. A built-in battery saver also prevents operation below 15.2 V to help protect the battery. Oxalic acid vapour can kill over 95% of phoretic mites when used properly as part of an appropriate mite management program. In the box, you get the InstantVap® Turbo unit, the instruction manual, 2 replacement O-rings, 1 oxalic acid dispenser, and 1 cleaning cap. Oxalic acid and battery are not included, and a minimum 4-amp battery is recommended.
