InstantVap® | TURBO | 18-20V Cordless Vaporizer

The InstantVap® Turbo 18-20 takes performance to the next level. Based on the proven InstantVap® Compact design, this vaporizer/sublimator delivers faster treatments, precise temperature control, and simple operation directly at the hive.

Powered by rechargeable 18-20 V batteries, the Turbo offers increased performance with 400 W of power and a 22 Ah capacity. It can complete treatments in approximately 10 seconds per 2 g dose at a 260 °C set temperature, making it an excellent choice for beekeepers looking for speed, reliability, and efficiency.

The Turbo is set to 260 °C because extensive testing has shown that this temperature provides the best balance of speed and effectiveness for this model. While other InstantVap units operate efficiently at 230 °C, the Turbo is designed to perform at its best at 260 °C.

The intelligent LED display provides clear feedback, including temperature, voltage, warning messages, and cycle count. Operating temperature and display units can be adjusted in either °C or °F, allowing beekeepers to customize the unit to their preference.

Built with a stainless steel frame and a strong brass pipe, the InstantVap® Turbo is compact, durable, and stable on the hive. Treatments can be performed without opening the hive, helping reduce colony disturbance while improving efficiency in the bee yard.

Its solid-state PID temperature control system has no wearing parts and delivers excellent temperature accuracy. The unit avoids overheating by exceeding the set temperature by a maximum of 2 °C, then maintaining the selected value within approximately ±1 °C. Dynamic heating and cooling help maintain effective temperatures during use for consistent treatment results.

The Turbo is designed for precise dosing without the need to measure every application manually. Its straight-through design has no pipe bends, helping prevent clogging and making the unit quick, simple, and easy to clean.

At an ambient temperature of 20 °C, a 5-amp battery can treat up to 25 colonies or more when used with the optional insulation cover. A built-in battery saver prevents operation below 15.2 V to help protect batteries from damage.

Oxalic acid vapour kills over 95% of phoretic mites when used properly as part of an appropriate mite management program.
