Shipping Policy
All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays) after receipt of your order. During peak periods, this delay may be longer. You will receive a new notification when your order has been shipped. This processing time does not include carrier delivery times, which are beyond our control.
Shipping rates and estimates
Shipping costs for your order will be calculated and displayed when you place your order. The final choice of carrier used is at the discretion of La Miellerie de l’Estrie for purposes of efficiency and service levels. The choice will have no impact on the price you were charged when placing your order.
If, after receiving your order, we find that it is too large and/or the total weight exceeds the shipping limits per package, we will inform you as soon as possible. We will offer you the option of shipping by pallet carrier and provide an estimate of the costs to pay based on the service requirements for delivery.
Pick up in store
You can avoid shipping costs with free local pickup at La Miellerie, located at 3847 Rue Dunant, Sherbrooke, Quebec J1N 0B5. After placing your order and selecting in-store pickup, your order will be prepared and ready for pickup within 1-2 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready.
Our in-store pickup hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday to Friday, and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Please note that opening hours may vary during low season. We recommend you to confirm our business hours before traveling.
International Shipping, Restrictions, Remote Areas and PO Boxes
No shipping is possible to post office boxes. We do not offer international shipping services at this time. If, by exception, our transport provider cannot make your delivery under normal shipping conditions, at its discretion, and/or if the actual transport cost of your order exceeds the costs calculated when you placed your order, we will notify you. La Miellerie reserves the right to cancel your order and refund you.
How can I check the status of my order?
When your order ships, you will receive an email notification from us that will include a tracking number that you can use to check its status. Please allow 12-24 hours for tracking information to be available on carrier sites.
If you have not received your order within a reasonable time of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at info@mielestrie.com with your name and order number, and we will happily track it for you.
Refunds, returns and exchanges
We accept returns of orders placed on our online store up to 15 calendar days after delivery. If the item is unused and in its original condition, we will refund the full amount of the item. Return shipping costs must be prepaid by you. No credit will be given for any portion of the shipping costs incurred for shipping the original order. La Miellerie will not be responsible for following up with the carrier in the event of delay or loss for returns.
If the returned item is received damaged, is not in its original condition, or its condition does not allow it to be relisted as is, we will contact you upon receipt. We will deduct a minimum fee of 25% of the value for restocking.
If an item you have received is damaged or proves to be defective, or if there has been an order preparation error on our part, please send us details and supporting photos within 24 hours of receipt of your order. We will review these situations on a case-by-case basis, and will do our best to find a satisfactory solution, and provide you with a replacement item if possible. In the event of a stock shortage or a discontinued product, we will offer you an equivalent product or credit applicable to a future order placed on our online store or in store.
